Terms of service
1. Who we are
This website at ironwardsafes.com ("Ironward Safes", "we", "us" or "our") is operated by Rawix Ecom LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, 1502 Brittain Rd #1042, Akron, OH 44310, United States. This is a mailing address: we don't have a showroom and we don't offer pickup. You can reach us at (330) 422-3991 or contact@ironwardsafes.com.
By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which are part of these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or place an order.
2. Eligibility and delivery area
We sell to customers in the United States who are at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. We deliver only to street addresses in the 48 contiguous states. We don't accept orders for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO boxes, APO or FPO addresses, or addresses outside the United States.
3. Products, descriptions and ratings
We're a retailer, not a manufacturer. Every item we sell is new. Product descriptions, specifications, ratings and images come from the manufacturer or are based on the manufacturer's information, and manufacturers may change them without notice. We work to keep them accurate, but we don't warrant that every description is complete, current or error-free. Colors and finishes can look different on screen than in person.
Fire, burglary and other ratings are the ratings stated by the manufacturer or the testing organization, under that rating's own test conditions. We don't test products ourselves. No safe protects its contents against every fire, flood, break-in or other event, and we don't promise that any safe will.
You're responsible for choosing a safe that meets any requirement that applies to you, such as state or local firearm storage laws or your insurer's requirements. We're glad to help you compare options by phone or email. That guidance is general and given in good faith; it isn't legal, insurance or engineering advice, and the final decision is yours.
4. Brands and trademarks
We don't claim to be an authorized dealer for any brand unless that brand's product page says so, and a product page says so only when the manufacturer has authorized us to sell that brand.
Brand names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. They appear on this site to describe the products we offer, and their use doesn't mean the brand endorses or partners with us.
5. Prices and manufacturer pricing policies
Prices are in US dollars. Standard curbside delivery is free on eligible items to the 48 contiguous states. Any delivery surcharge for a remote or limited-access address, and any upgraded delivery service, is disclosed and agreed before your card is charged, as set out in our Shipping Policy. We currently collect sales tax only on orders delivered to Ohio. Depending on your state, you may owe use tax.
Many manufacturers set minimum advertised price (MAP) or other pricing policies for their products, and we follow them. These policies can affect how a price is displayed and whether we can discount, match or advertise a lower price. Our Price Match Guarantee applies only where the manufacturer's policy allows.
Prices may change at any time before we confirm your order.
6. Pricing and listing errors
A product may occasionally be listed at the wrong price or with wrong details. We may correct errors at any time, and we aren't required to sell at a price shown in error.
- If we find an error affecting your order before your card is charged, we contact you. You can go ahead at the correct price or cancel; if you cancel, we release the authorization and nothing is charged.
- If we find the error after your card has been charged, you can go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund of the amount charged.
7. Orders, confirmation and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The automatic email you receive after checkout confirms that we received your order; it isn't our acceptance of it.
We accept your order when, after confirming the order, its lead time and your delivery details with you by phone, we capture payment. At checkout your card is authorized, not charged, and we don't capture payment until we've confirmed the order with you by phone. If you don't want to wait for the confirmed lead time, we cancel the order and release the authorization, and nothing is charged.
We accept major credit cards through Shopify's secure checkout. Card authorizations expire after a period set by the card network or payment processor. If yours expires before we capture payment, we contact you to arrange payment again; we won't charge you without telling you.
We may ask you to verify your identity, billing details or delivery address before we accept an order. We may decline or cancel any order, including after an authorization has been placed, if:
- the item is unavailable or discontinued;
- we can't reach you by phone to confirm the order;
- there's a pricing or description error;
- the delivery address is outside our delivery area;
- we suspect fraud or unauthorized use of a payment method; or
- the order appears to be for resale.
If we cancel an order after your card has been charged, we refund the full amount charged. Cancellations you request are covered in our Refund Policy.
8. Delivery, title and risk of loss
Delivery terms, including lead times, scheduling and what curbside delivery includes, are set out in our Shipping Policy. You must give us a correct delivery address and a phone number the carrier can use to schedule delivery.
Title to the item and risk of loss pass to you when the item is delivered to the address you gave us.
Inspect the delivery with the driver present before you sign, with the carton removed so you can see the item itself. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt (bill of lading), take photos, and contact us within 24 hours. Report concealed damage found after delivery within 5 days. When damage is reported this way, we file and manage the claim with the carrier and the manufacturer and arrange the remedy that claim provides, as set out in the Refund Policy. A delivery refused, or returned as undeliverable, for any reason other than visible transit damage noted on the delivery receipt is charged freight both ways, even though delivery was shown as free, plus the manufacturer's restocking fee.
Curbside delivery ends as close to the curb or the end of the driveway as the truck can safely get, and moving the safe from there is your responsibility. Safes are very heavy, and moving, lifting or installing one can cause serious injury or property damage. Use enough people and suitable equipment, or hire a professional mover. Except where the law doesn't allow us to limit it, we're not responsible for injury or damage that happens while you, or someone you hire, move, install or anchor an item after delivery.
9. Upgraded delivery and installation
Where upgraded delivery services are available, such as inside or threshold delivery, room-of-choice placement, anchoring or debris removal, we quote them per order at extra cost. These services are performed by the manufacturer or a separate local provider where one is available, and we share any additional terms they require before you agree. Upgraded delivery charges are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
Before anchoring a safe or placing it on an upper floor, make sure the floor can support its weight, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
10. Returns and refunds
Cancellations, returns, refused deliveries and transit damage are covered by our Refund Policy. In short: return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery; every return needs a return authorization (RMA), and the item must reach the manufacturer within 7 days of the RMA being issued unless the manufacturer's written terms allow longer; the item must be unused, unanchored, undamaged and in its original packaging; the manufacturer's restocking fee, the return freight and, where the manufacturer charges it, the original delivery cost are deducted; and built-to-order, custom-finish and special-order items are final sale.
11. Warranties
Every item we sell is covered by its manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer, not Ironward Safes, is the warrantor, and the manufacturer sets the warranty's terms, coverage and remedies. We help you file warranty claims with the manufacturer; that help is a service and isn't a warranty from us.
Except for the manufacturer's warranty and anything expressly stated in these Terms, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states don't allow implied warranties to be excluded, so this exclusion may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to an order, a product or this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product that gave rise to the claim.
We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of or damage to the contents of a safe, loss of use or lost profits, even if we were told such damages were possible. Some states don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law.
13. Use of this site
You agree not to use this site to break any law, to copy or scrape our content, to interfere with the site's operation or security, or to place orders you don't intend to complete.
Checkout and payment processing are provided by Shopify. We don't receive or store your full card number.
14. Our content
The text, guides, layout and other original content on this site belong to Rawix Ecom LLC. Product images and specifications supplied by manufacturers belong to those manufacturers.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one posted on this page when you place the order.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Summit County, Ohio, except where the law of your state gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
17. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a part of these Terms, that isn't a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the policies named in section 1, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of this site and your orders.
