Flagship of Yamaha's 5000 Series, a fully balanced analog-only preamp using a "floating and balanced" circuit topology — phono, input, and line-amp stages never referenced to ground, removing ground noise from the signal path. Dual independent toroidal transformers, six RCA + four balanced XLR inputs including phono.
