Product Description
The RP-8000F II is the flagship tower in Klipsch's second-generation Reference Premiere lineup, built around the brand's signature horn-loaded design. An enlarged 90 x 90 degree Tractrix horn sits above a titanium-diaphragm tweeter mounted on a Linear Travel Suspension assembly, a combination Klipsch uses to project high frequencies into the room with the same low-distortion dynamics found in its cinema and touring horns.
Low end comes from a pair of 8-inch Cerametallic woofers with enlarged voice coils, tuned through a Tractrix-profile rear port for extension down into the mid-30Hz range. Klipsch reinforced the cabinet with additional internal bracing and a divided enclosure to keep the woofers from exciting panel resonance, and the crossover network was revised for this second-generation model.
Around back, dual binding posts support bi-wiring or bi-amping, and the tower can anchor a full Reference Premiere II home theater system alongside matching center, surround, and Dolby Atmos elevation modules. It ships in a choice of ebony or walnut vinyl finishes with a magnetically attached grille and cast aluminum plinth feet.
